Recently, I had the privilege of walking with an organization through some new waters of growth in their stages of development as a team and within their infrastructure. I was so amazed at how each leader recognized the vitalness of cohesive communication. The swiftness to value this level of communication was not just a good thing; but a necessary thing. I noticed that they prioritized clarity and had the discipline to steady the pace to ensure all were in lock-step!
Cohesive communication unites teams and leaders while stewarding the mission. This level of communication cultivates connection and collaboration; both of which make for an amazing culture as well as relational rapport, team alignment, and effectiveness for the organization. As we explore more around cohesive communication; we will come to see the value of trust that truly is the springboard and sustaining foundation for propelling the mission and team forward.
Father in Heaven, Thank you for each leader today that is leaning on you to steward their team and steward their assignments. Grace each leader with immense capacity to guard the gate of their cultures to champion cohesive communication. We know that this level of communication preserves and protects the work and those we are so humbled to serve and serve alongside. Pray and Pause over Hurry and Rush – choose to seek wisdom and stillness
Listening over Hearing – engage the heart behind the words
Clarity over Assumption – communicate with intention
Consistency over Confusion – remain steadfast with aligned words and actions
Empathy over Perfection - connection rooted in compassion
