There is just something about watching and observing teams flowing from unity. An aligned team is an effective team!

This was a big leap of faith for InPower Partnerships in 2025! I still have my little teal post-it note on my desk. I asked the Lord, "Do you have a focus for me this year?" I sensed and wrote down the phrase, “Leap Year.”

There is too much at stake if we do not “guard the gate” by ensuring we are extremely intentional to lead with clarity.

Curating a transformational culture begins in the heart of a leader. Not simply offering correction, but coaching for each team member’s fullest potential.

Cohesive communication unites teams and leaders while stewarding the mission. This level of communication cultivates connection and collaboration; both of which make for an amazing culture as well as relational rapport, team alignment, and effectiveness for the organization.

In all of our cultures within our organizations as teams, we see the value that both visionaries and implementers bring to the table! Each provides much needed strength to the whole. In any given stage or season of an organization, when we capitalize on what each one brings, we are so much more effective!

What I loved most about sports was watching the coaches and learning about player development! I LOVED reading books about great coaches and how they would bring out the best in their players to make for a winning team!

As leaders, and I know for me personally, loss can toss us into shame, doubt, shock, confusion, and feelings of failure. We can experience a vulnerability like none other. Today, I want to encourage you to walk through and on the path with Jesus and safe trusted friends toward life and life to the full…

If you are finding yourself in the wake of loss today and finding the strength to lead an uphill climb to be near impossible, you are not alone. Leading after loss while navigating grief and braving new beginnings offers a path forward with healing.

While leading perfectly is not attainable, we can be as intentional as possible to listen, guide, prepare, and invite the Lord’s grace to lead us as we steward the change with our teams. Anyone getting ready to lead through change?

I sense that in our leadership at times too – fear of the unknown or the knowing can hold us back, pin us down, and attempt to sabotage our faith and forward movement…

Clarity is a catalyst for Kingdom advancement…as a TEAM! I love how the Lord takes our everyday coming(s) and going(s) and literally drops in spiritual truths!
